The new Amazon Web Services (AWS) Africa Headquarters in Cape Town sets a new benchmark for workplace design in South Africa. MOSO® Bamboo is proud to have supplied over 2,000 m² of Bamboo X-treme decking, as well as the boards used for seating and the striking decorative beams in the Town Hall amphitheater area, which all contributed to the Green Star green building rating achieved by this landmark project. By prioritising materials with a reduced carbon footprint, Amazon Web Services actively contributes to the fight against climate change. The project demonstrates how sustainable materials like bamboo can shape future-focused, climate-conscious design.
