ASFinAG is the Austrian motorway operator. In 2020, ASFinAG initiated a pilot project with ITEK traffic sign technologies with the aim of reducing the carbon footprint of traffic signs. For several years now, ITEK has been offering the Austrian market an Ecoguide range of traffic signs made of MOSO® Bamboo and posts made of Accoya wood. The pictures show one of ASFinAG’s pilot projects in Styria along the A2 motorway.
