Castellar Clinic

Castellar Clinic in Bonanova is a project designed from an existing private residence, characterized by angles and different geometric shapes that coexist under a set of volumes, added over the years. The house has been refurbished by the architectural agency Vilalta Estudio to transform it into an aesthetic medicine clinic, specializing in the ocular field. The main objective of the project was to enhance the original nature of the place, establishing a compromise between the existing and the new, highlighting it’s geometric characteristics and adapting them, in turn, to the new program. Several bamboo products such as Solid Panels and Veneer were selected to bring a warm, natural and sustainable touch to the project. The bamboo furniture provides a nice contrast to the white concrete. According to

“We chose bamboo because of its sustainable and durable characteristics as a material, with a fast growth and low CO2 footprint during the product lifespan”.
