One of its defining features is the use of Bamboo X-treme cladding, chosen for its natural appearance and alignment with the project’s sustainability goals. The cladding boards contribute to a reduced carbon footprint and support green building standards, reinforcing the holiday home’s commitment to low-impact living. Recognised for its eco-conscious approach, the Douro Wood House was awarded the Loop Design Award 2025 in the category Small Architecture.
