Private house in Hoorn

In this private house in Hoorn, bamboo flooring runs through nearly every room. The open living and dining area is laid in a herringbone pattern, its warm caramel tone playing off the muted colours of the piano and the white rug by the sofa. The three-layer Bamboo Elite solid bamboo board with a tongue-and-groove system is designed specifically to simplify herringbone installation, making it easy to achieve this classic pattern at home.

Upstairs the floor changes to long and wide planks of Bamboo Elite in High Density Caramel, leading through to the bedroom. Large windows throughout let the sun rake across the boards at low angles, showcasing the random grain pattern typical for MOSO^® Bamboo’s high density boards. Made from crushed and compressed bamboo strips, the boards are twice as hard as oak, combining a distinctive appearance with excellent durability. Both flooring options are compatible with underfloor heating when glued down.
