Private pool in Vouzela

Architect Álvaro Pereira strives to create unique designs that leave a lasting impression on viewers. Together with Banema and Pedro Cardoso, they took the same approach while creating the decking design around a private pool in Vouzela. Behind the private villa in Vouzela, overlooking the Meditteranean hills, stands an infinity pool with an unusual shape, where an oval silhouette breaks the usual rectangular form. Appearing to be floating on the water, close to the pool’s border, is another unique detail – an island-resembling element from which grows a tree. MOSO^® Bamboo N-Durance^® Decking covers the three sides of the infinity pool and the circular shape which “floats” on it. The warm amber colour of MOSO^® Bamboo N-durance^® Decking boards fit perfectly in between the rocky and green Mediterranean landscape and, among others, it creates a contrast with the turquoise water of the pool.
