Røverstaden

Røverstaden, translated as City of Robbers, is a cultural center next to the Oslo Concert Hall. The center has space for bars, restaurants and an office and meeting center. There are always activities in the center and it is a place where creative people from various sectors come together. In the bar area, Spacegroup’s architects chose a creative floor: Bamboo Industriale installed as a mosaic. Skogr AS took up the challenge to install the bamboo strips, tied together to form mats, at a cross angle. The result is an eye-catching floor, which is very strong and resistant to the many visitors to the cultural center.
