Schindler’s head office has a symbolic dimension as a polygon, reflecting the group’s logo. It is designed to accommodate more than 200 people and affirm the identity of the headquarters to all visitors. Composed of 5 floors, the building aims to create a more agile and connected environment for all its employees. The headquarter has been designed to be as open to the outside as possible, representing the company’s values of openness and transparency. Sustainability is given a special place at the head office, as the building obtained the double certification HQE Excellent and BREEAM Excellent. Bamboo plays a definite role in this classification, in total it allows the storage of 55,395 lbs of CO2, which is comparable to the CO2 emissions of 131,201 miles driven by a mid-range car.
