Veidekke, Norway’s largest contractor, builds roads, tunnels and houses throughout Scandinavia. For its new headquarters in Oslo, the company wanted the building to reflect its people-first values and strong sustainability focus. Reuse and upcycling were key principles for the interior design: 45% of the furniture was reused from previous offices and given new life in the modern workspace.
When selecting flooring for the new headquarters, Veidekke sought a material that would deliver long-lasting performance, a warm and natural look, and align with its ambitious sustainability goals. The choice fell on MOSO® Bamboo UltraDensity, supplied by Fritzøe Engros: “High ambitions were set for the building, and the material choices were part of achieving the goals. The bamboo floor has a good EPD that shows a low greenhouse gas footprint.” Combining exceptional hardness with natural aesthetics, the flooring meets the demands of a busy office while creating a welcoming and durable environment.
