The General Roca villa is located in the province of Río Negro, in the northern region of Patagonia, Argentina. Several factors were considered in the selection of materials for this private residence, with particular attention given to the area’s extreme climate and the need for energy efficiency. To support these goals, the architect opted for a ventilated sunshade façade constructed with MOSO® Bamboo X-treme beams.
In addition, Bamboo X-treme decking and cladding boards were applied to the exterior of the villa. The exceptional durability and dimensional stability of the material ensure reliable performance under the region’s harsh weather conditions, making it a fitting choice for both aesthetic appeal and long-term resilience.
