Villa in Banyoles

Walk through this renovated home near Girona and the same material keeps reappearing. MOSO^® Bamboo Solid Panel in Density Caramel forms the wardrobe walls, vanity units and window benches upstairs, runs the full length of the kitchen cabinetry, and lines the dining room walls throughout the ground floor. It’s the kind of project where designer Maite Prats clearly trusted one material to carry the whole renovation, rather than treating the bamboo as an accent.

MOSO^® Bamboo Solid Panel is a multi-layer solid bamboo board, built up from either three or five bamboo layers. The contrasting middle layer creates a beautiful accent along the exposed edges. The boards are available in a wide range of thicknesses, pressing styles and colours, giving a project like this one the flexibility to use the same product for a thin wardrobe back panel and a thick, load-bearing worktop without switching materials.
