Woodhub in Denmark

WoodHub is an administrative building in Odense, providing space for approximately 1,600 government employees in a modern, flexible, and climate-friendly working environment. With a floor area of 31,000 m², the building has been carefully integrated into the urban context and, as Denmark’s largest wooden building to date, showcases sustainable urban development.

MOSO^® Bamboo X-treme has been used as decking for the terraces and outdoor areas, covering a total surface area of 2,400 m². The solid bamboo decking boards are made from compressed and thermally treated bamboo strips and offer exceptional stability and durability. Thanks to the combination of thermal treatment and high density, the boards remain straight and stable even after many years, while the use of fast-growing bamboo perfectly matches the sustainable ambitions of this project.
