With the Bamboo Outdoor Collection, MOSO® has developed a truly ecological and durable alternative to nonrenewable materials and increasingly scarce tropical hardwood. MOSO® uses innovative and high quality manufacturing processes to alter the hardness, dimensional stability, fire safety and durability to a level superior to the best tropical hardwood species.
MOSO® Bamboo Outdoor comes in two colours: the dark brown Bamboo X-treme® and brown caramel Bamboo N-durance®. For MOSO® Bamboo X-treme®, MOSO® uses a unique Thermo-Density® process of heat-treatment at 200°C followed by High Density® compression. With MOSO® Bamboo N-durance®, MOSO® uses a unique Outdoor-Density® process that combines special crushing, steam-pressure treatment and compression with a special finish.
MOSO® Bamboo is suitable for outdoor applications, especially as decking. The extreme stability of the material ensures a very durable bamboo terrace, with the natural appearance of hardwood. A unique feature of MOSO® Bamboo is the end-match system: this can only be done with very stable materials and enables the connection of an unlimited number of boards lengthways.
MOSO® Bamboo Outdoor Cladding are solid boards in various widths for exterior applications. Contrary to other wood products, this material can achieve up to fire resistance Class B
(EN 13501-1) without impregnation with expensive and eco-damaging fire retardants. MOSO® Bamboo Cladding can also be installed with MOSO® Fasteners and screws for easy and fast installation.
MOSO® Bamboo Beams are ideal for use in outdoor furniture products and facades. A unique treatment process and increased density (by compressing the bamboo strips) makes these beams extremely stable and durable.
The solid bamboo fencing boards MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® are made from compressed, thermally treated bamboo strips. The extreme stability of the material ensures a very durable bamboo fence, with the natural appearance of hardwood.
