Recently, the EU Commission introduced anti-dumping import taxes on multilayered wood flooring imported from China. We are pleased to inform you that bamboo products are explicitly excluded from these measures, ensuring that we can continue providing our customers with top-tier bamboo flooring without any additional tariffs or disruptions.
Anti-dumping measures are trade defense tools used by governments to protect local industries from unfair competition. Dumping occurs when foreign manufacturers sell products at prices lower than their fair market value, typically below the cost of production. This can harm domestic industries by undercutting local prices. As a result, anti-dumping tariffs are imposed to level the playing field.
In 2025, the EU Commission launched a series of anti-dumping measures targeting specific imported wood products, such as multilayered wood flooring from China. It has added a 49% tax on it. These tariffs aim to address unfair pricing practices and protect European manufacturers.
However, bamboo flooring, which is a distinct product, has been explicitly excluded from these measures, meaning there are no additional tariffs on our bamboo products.
