Bamboo N-durance cladding

MOSO^® Bamboo N-durance cladding is a solid, Outdoor-Density board, made from compressed bamboo strips. Bamboo N-durance has a warm caramel colour, resulting from a steam-pressure treatment on the bamboo material. A special crushing and compression technique increases the hardness and stability and provides MOSO^® Bamboo N-durance with the highest durability class possible in the appropriate EU norms. The cladding boards are finished with the saturator Sikkens Cetol Savanna which gives the board a beautiful amber colour.

Bamboo N-durance cladding is available with Sikkens Cetol Savanna finish, which gives the Bamboo N-durance cladding boards a lighter look, providing a very elegant amber-coloured appearance. The end result is a façade with a beautiful amber colour that will gradually fade to a natural grey over the years. The cladding requires no periodic maintenance, though the caramel colour can also be maintained with the Sikkens Cetol Savanna finish. Closed cladding to meet the highest fire requirements

MOSO^® Bamboo has developed Bamboo N-durance ^® closed cladding in order to meet the most demanding requirements in terms of fire certification. Bamboo N-durance closed cladding reaches fire safety Class B-s1-d0 (EN 13501-1); this exceptional fire rating is obtained without impregnation of expensive and environmentally-damaging fire retardants. By using the Bamboo N-durance closed cladding for your project, there is another advantage in terms of fire resistance: it offers a Class B-s1-d0 (EN 13501-1) certification for the entire installation system (screwed).

A long-term choice

With an incredible density of ± 1200 kg/m3, Bamboo N-durance cladding offers the highest hardness with a Brinell result of ± 9.5 kg/mm2 (according to European norms EN 1534). Its exceptional stability, achieved thanks to the Outdoor-Density manufacturing process, and its hardness ensure that Bamboo N-durance cladding lasts over time.

MOSO^® Bamboo is expanding the Bamboo X‑treme and Bamboo N-durance ranges with new board lengths: 1,850 mm / 3,050 mm / 3,650 mm. Other custom sizes can be produced on request.
