The Curved decking boards have many advantages over conventional boards. “Curved” means that the surface is slightly convex and smoothly planed. Visually, this is hardly distinguishable from a normal, smooth decking board and yet the new MOSO® Bamboo decking boards offer some very practical advantages. Due to the light, central elevation of 1.5 mm, the water drains directly to the side, so that the boards, e.g. after rain, quickly dry up again and become less dirty. The new shape also makes installation easier – unlike other decking boards, no slope is required for the installation.

MOSO® by Grad is a patented and unique solution to install Bamboo X‑treme decking on aluminium profiles. The specially profiled Bamboo X‑treme decking board have a smooth and slightly curved surface, which allows natural water drainage without the need to create a slight slope when installing the structure. Thanks to the GradTM clip the installation is invisible and removable.

The spacious spa facilities at Vabali Hamburg (36000 m²) are designed to resemble a Balinese village where up to 500 guests can kick back, relax and rejuvenate. Just like in Berlin (opened in 2014) and Dusseldorf (opened in 2017), Theune Spa Management selected Bamboo X‑treme decking for the outdoor areas. A board was specially produced for the spa that is both curved and brushed on the surface. This ensures the boards dry faster and provides more slip resistance.
