Meet our MOSO North America team! In 2017 MOSO® launched the new subsidiary MOSO North America to serve the Canadian and US market, with a focus on the outdoor collection: Bamboo X-treme®.
In the last few years, the MOSO North America team have gained traction quickly with an increasing interest in MOSO® bamboo from all different markets. Meet the people behind the screen:
As one of the early pioneers of bamboo building materials in North America, Brett was the ideal choice to lead Moso Groups expansion into North America. Brett’s over 20 years of experience in the construction materials industry brings a wide range of business and product development experience. In the early 90’s Mr. Kelly played the lead role for Thompson Mahogany developing the retail Ipe market in the United States. Now Brett has fully devoted his energy to growing the applications for bamboo materials and can be seen on Moso Minutes.
As we journey into a new way of communicating during the COVID-19 pandemic, MOSO® North America introduced a new way of getting the bamboo message out. In the MOSO® Minutes series, short and structural clips aim to inform the market about our sustainable MOSO® bamboo solutions available.
Ryan has spent most of his 20 year career in the building materials industry selling and distributing flooring. He has experience in sales and logistics for big-box and small box retail as well as installation and distribution. This experience has prepared him for the role of Director of Operations for North America. Ryan also spent time running his own deck construction company “Green Decks” in the Philadelphia area. Where he focused exclusively on installing Bamboo X-Treme® Decking and Porch flooring. He is happy to answer any questions from contractors on the installation and care of Bamboo X-treme®. As well as how to make their business stand out by offering a sustainable decking alternative.
With Ryan’s experience within the Deck and Porch flooring installation and care world, you may find him on our YouTube channel from time to time creating something beautiful with MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® “How To” and DIY content.
Dan is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh and the backbone of Moso North America operations. Dan brings a young perspective to the team and a badly needed understanding of current technology trends. Dan’s early accomplishments include working with Dr Pablo Van de Lugt to author Moso North America’s AIA Continuing education course, “Booming Bamboo—The (Re)discovery of a sustainable material with endless possibilities”.
